NATIONAL POLICE WEEK
Sunday May 15th - Saturday May 21st, 2022

In 1962, President Kennedy proclaimed May 15 as National Peace Officers Memorial Day and the calendar week in which May 15 falls, as National Police Week. National Police Week pays special recognition to those Officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.
This week officers with the Sheboygan Falls Police Department will be wearing mourning bands over their badge to honor the Law Enforcement Officers who made the ultimate sacrifice, as well as the family members, friends, and fellow officers they left behind.

On April 22nd, Officer John Palese, graduated from the IACP- Leadership in Police Organizations (LPO) training program.
LPO is a three-week course that provides students with an understanding of behavioral science and leadership theories. LPO uses a behavioral science approach to leading people, groups and organizations. The course is based on material developed for the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, tailored to the Law Enforcement environment. Focused on cultivating leaders at all levels of the organization, LPO training is highly interactive. Small group case studies, videos and class exercises are used to reinforce learning. Participants learn to apply these learned theories to enhance human motivation, satisfaction, performance and development as a way of achieving organizational goals.
Congratulations Officer Palese!
